The location was perfect for exploring Oakwood Theme Park, just a short drive away. The cottage itself was beautiful, with a lovely terrace where we enjoyed relaxing evenings. It was well-equipped with everything we needed, and the host was incredibly welcoming and helpful. We especially appreciated the little extras like wine, chocolates, and fresh milk upon arrival. We can't wait to come back!

For dads, it would be great to have a bigger playground for the kids to enjoy.

We had a wonderful stay at a lovely area cottage. From the warm welcome and attention to detail, including wine, chocolates, and fresh flowers, to the fully equipped kitchen and comfortable beds, everything was perfect. The location was great, not far from the beach, and the sitting area with BBQ would have been perfect if the weather had cooperated. We can't wait to return and experience it again.

I absolutely adored the cozy and inviting atmosphere of Orchard Cottage. The stone arch, slate and oak floors, and wooden exposed beams in the high-vaulted lounge ceiling created such a charming and rustic feel. The general areas of the cottage were well-maintained and had a homey ambiance that made me feel instantly comfortable. As a senior woman, I appreciated the easy accessibility of the property. The accommodation had a terrace where I could relax and enjoy the lovely views, and I found the garden well stocked with plants and flowers, creating a serene environment.

If I had to ask for one improvement, it would be for the children working there, who were very helpful and friendly, to provide better instructions on adjusting the temperature of the shower in the bathroom. It was a bit tricky for me as a senior to find the right balance between hot and cold water.
